Lurking within these lush Morning Glories on my neighbor's fence is some sort of beasty that Katie feels compelled to yell at each day. Since I can neither confirm nor deny the existance of said beasty, and therefore have no idea how threatened I may actually be, I praise her heartily and try to move on with the more calm part of our walk, provided no joggers, skateboarders, or some other dogs cross our paths. (But not all dogs, and it's not consistent, of course, so a benign dog one day may be enemy-number-one the next.)
Tomorrow is our fourth session of obedience school, and we'll be tested on "loose leash walking." There is nothing "loose" about our leash walking. Put us on ice and give me a sled and we'd be good to cross a tundra.
